We have a very busy term coming up in Prep! Here are a few of the events we have during Term 4.

Friday 21^st October - Prep Pet Parade (9am pets must leave at the conclusion of the parade 

Friday 21^st October - Responsible Pet Ownership Information Session (12.20-1pm)

Friday 28^th October – Water Safety and Awareness Program

Tuesday 1^st November – JSC Fundraiser – Careers Day

Tuesday 8^th November – Preps visit the Werribee Zoo

Friday 11^th November - Mini Mudder Obstacle Event
Week 7 (starting 14th) - Preps at Serendip (dates and classes TBC)
Week 8 (starting 21st) - Preps at Serendip (dates and classes TBC)

Thursday 24^th November - Camp Quality Puppet Show
Friday 25^th November - Prep H Assembly Performance

Week 9 (starting 28th) - Preps at Serendip (dates and classes TBC)
Tuesday 6^th December - Performing Arts Concert (6.30pm)

Tuesday 22^nd December - Final Day of school for 2016

PJ Day

The Preps all enjoyed their first Pyjama Day at school!!

What a perfect day to be snuggled up in our cosy PJs.

CFA Visit

On Thursday 16^th June all the Prep students visited the Lara CFA to learn all about how fire fighters help in our community.

We were so lucky to be able to get in the fire trucks, try on some of the uniforms and look around the fire station.

We learnt so much about what the fire fighters do and they taught us different ways we can stay safe around fire.

ANZAC Day

On Friday 22^nd of April we had a very special visitor come to talk to the Preps about ANZAC day.

Steve came in to tell us why we celebrate ANZAC day, the people we remember on this day and why it is important.

We were very lucky as he brought in a coat that was worn by his father in WW1 as well as his Army uniform and the special slouch hat he wears for ceremonies.

We learnt lots about ANZAC day and were very lucky to have this opportunity!

Term  2 – Students of the week!

We have had a very busy few weeks in Prep! 

These wonderful students have received a Student of the Week award for their outstanding efforts in their classroom!

We also have many students who are beginning to reach 100 nights of reading!

The Preps had a special visitor today.....

For those of you who have already heard from some very excited little children…. We had a very special visitor sneak into the Prep classrooms today to deliver an EXTRA special surprise to some VERY hard working Preps!!!

We are currently experiencing some difficulties with uploading the clip but as soon as we work out a way it will be posted for you all to see!!!!

With only 157 days left of school for this year and the end of Term 1 almost here we are thrilled with the number of students who have attended school each day this term!

Regular attendance at school is important for your child’s learning and we encourage students to be at school on time every day - unless of course they are sick!

The following are students from each grade who have had perfect 100% attendance for Term 1 – not missing a single day!!!
